On June 5, Kaylyn Bourque announced her plans for the 2022-23 season, including her upcoming summer schedule of tournaments and camps.

Bourque, 15, recently completed her sophomore season in Maine as the leading goal scorer in the state with 33 goals, 11 assists and 44 points for the Winslow/Gardiner/Brewer/Messalonskee/Lawrence/Erskine Academy Black Tigers. She was named to the First Team All-Conference in the KVAC and was also selected to the New England District All-Star team.

This summer Kaylyn will participate in some of the top hockey tournaments and camps in the country:

June 12-14 – Chowder Cup Prospect Majors Tournament. Location: Foxboro, Canton and Attleboro, Massachusetts

June 21-22 – Hockey Night in Boston. Location: Haverhill Valley Forum, Haverhill, Massachusetts

July 11-15 – Pro Ambitions Hockey Camp. Location: Jim Roche Ice Arena, Boston, Massachusetts

July 25-26 – University of Maine Prospect Camp. Location: Harold Alfond Ice Arena, Orono, Maine

August 4-7 – Hockey Night in Boston Majors Showcase. Location: Worcester Ice Center.

Bourque also recently announced that she was selected to play for the Casco Bay Mariners 19U team.

Kaylyn competed in the Tier II tryouts for the Casco Bay Mariners and made the U19 team at as 15-year-old. Starting in September, the Mariners will begin their schedule competing in New England Girls Hockey League (NEGHL), the top girls hockey league in the country.

“We are excited to have Kaylyn in the program next season at the U19 level. She is hard-working, smart, and sees the ice well which will fit in nicely with the great group of girls we have next season. The Casco Bay Girls program does an exceptional job of balancing skill development, practice time, and competition, and Kaylyn will have the opportunity to progress in all those areas,” said Matt Poulin, head coach of the girls U19 Casco Bay Mariners.
