Kents Hill Prep School is located in Kents Hill, Maine, just 12 miles from the state capitol of Augusta. The location in Central Maine was part of the reason Bourque chose the prep school, which is less than an hour from Bourque’s hometown of Benton, Maine.

“I want to thank everyone who has supported me during this process, including my family, friends, teammates, coaches and teachers. I am very grateful for my time at Lawrence High School and to grow up in such an incredible community. I am proud to stay in Maine and remain close to the people who have helped me along the way.

I am very excited to attend Kents Hill because it will give me the opportunity to challenge myself in new ways and play against some of the best hockey competition in the country. Every athlete has a chance to write their own story, and this is the start of my next chapter,” explained Bourque.

Bourque will join a talented roster at Kents Hill under head coach Jasmine Webber. The Kents Hill School Girls Varsity Ice Hockey Team is a Division I program that plays in the New England Prep School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC).
